Membership
ARC operates as a project group within the broader Data Science @ Georgia Tech student organization.
- Who can join: Georgia Tech students across programs, including online students. Alumni with continuing student status may also participate.
- Baseline expectations: join DS@GT, pay dues, and contribute consistently across the semester.
- Technical background: Python, Git, and prior project-based experience are strongly recommended.

Group structure and schedule
The group operates on a two-semester academic cycle.
- Fall Interest Group & Preparation: introductory training in competitive data science that prepares students for spring team placement. ~2–3 hours/week.
- Spring Competition Execution & Publication: team-based CLEF research producing submissions, working notes, and presentations. ~100–150+ hours total, depending on role.
